The launch of Square’s ecosystem in Spanish centered on the universal feeling of taking a leap. For Spanish-speaking business owners, the act of aventarse is a shared experience. It is moving to a new country or clicking the button to open an online store. We wanted to capture the "decisive moment," which is that specific mix of nerves and optimism that comes right before taking an important step.

I worked on the campaign identity, leveraging a refreshed brand system to build a visual language that met that tension. This identity scaled across TVCs, OOH, and social assets. Because Square gives sellers the confidence they need to take their next big step, we leaned into a bold design language. We used all-caps, condensed typography and Square’s branded yellow to create a sense of daring and pride. This was paired with dramatized camera movements and low perspectives to highlight the moment of absolute clarity when a seller realizes they have the power to move forward. The overall high-contrast look and feel stripped away the noise as we aimed to visualize the feeling of a future finally pulling into focus.
